My thoughts on the new Bond film

The good:
- Complex plot
- Great action
- Very up to date bad guys – not an evil organisation as such but a shadowy group of corporate types.
- Pervasive gadgets (realistic futurism)
- Subtle eco theme
- No torture this time
- No invisible cars
The bad:
- Didn’t flow quite as well as Casino Royale
- Some plot stupidities – like when M wanted to bring Bond in she sent a single female agent wearing a raincoat and not a lot else. Clever.
- Rubbish theme song
- Bond does not drink Gordon’s gin and like it. Worst gin (and product placement) ever.
